Discover our small, friendly, community choir in edinburgh

The Vintage Chorus welcomes new members , regardless of previous experience. There are no auditions and you don't need to be able to read music. Our only stipulation is that you are prepared to have fun.

We sing a wide range of songs including folk songs from around the world, songs from the shows and 20th century pop,

We perform in the community at lunch clubs, care homes and charity concerts.

Why not come and join our Edinburgh choir for a free taster session? We meet at 10.15 am on Tuesday mornings at the Edinburgh Virgin Hotel, 1 India Buildings, Victoria Street..

Summer outing 2026

A chorus of pirates on the Union Canal For our summer outing we boarded the Lochrin Belle at Fountainbridge, so a pirate theme was a natural choice. The grog and the summer wine flowed making for very relaxed choral singing. As always great entertainment from Wendy and Sandy, who along with Andy won the prizes for bessed dressed pirates. Thanks to Andy for organising it all.

easter fun with the chorus, 2026

Our rehearsal this Easter was a fun day of bonnets, bunnies and choclate eggs and a medley of favourite Easter songs. Even the men had bonnets, thanks to Andy The women's bonnets as usual stole the show Andy the Easter bunny with Sandy the Easter chicken and Wendy trying not to laugh We managed some singing too. Not up to performance standard but great fun

Christmas 2025

We had a busy Christmas schedule singing at Portobello, at Murrayfield Care Home and three performances in the Oculus Lounge of the Virgin Hotel. Singing under the hotel dome made for great acoustics Singing in the gallery above the Oculus lounge
