We led the singing at the Christmas Carol service at Stockbridge Church, Saxe Coburg Street on Thursday 12 December, 2024. In addition to well-loved carols and festive readings, the choir sang four of our own favourite seasonal items:
Christmas Night, an Australian carol
Nina Nana, an Italian lullaby
Dona nobis pacem, a traditional round which originated as a Christmas song in Germany
Snowy white snow and jingle bells, a novelty British Christmas song from the 1940s
The service was in aid of the charity Combat Stress, who organised the event. More details here:
