For our first concert of the summer we entertained the Portobello Older Peoples Project and their volunteers at their lunch club.
We sang a medley of songs from around the world.
Putting on the Ritz
Ain't she sweet
Sunrise, sunset
Nina nanna
Roll the old chariot along
Mull of Kintyre
Medley-I'm gonna sing/Oh when the saints/Swing low, sweet chariot
Then Sandy entertained with a couple of Scottish numbers on the wee accordion, accompanied by Wendy on cello.
The concert was rounded off by choir members Allan and Rosemary who sang a poignant song by Billy Connolly - reminding us that he did write some serious songs.
